APUS, the #1 utility publisher in China, was looking for ways to expand their app audience and gain loyal users while maintaining a strict cost per acquisition. Epom helped APUS run large-scale mobile user acquisition and retention campaigns on 23 international markets.

Solution


Epom launched international app install campaigns that were continuously optimized based on user retention and the overall return on investment. To diversify and engage the developer's most valuable potential user base, we also enriched mobile ad campaigns with custom smart banners produced by our in-house studio.

We used dynamic optimization to ensure that every time an Android user saw a banner the message would be personalized.

When we tracked a visit from an old Android device, we showed a message offering to make the phone faster. For users with new devices we offered wallpapers, themes for Android and interface management features.

This approach helped us scale the ad campaign internationally while maintaining localization and attracting new traffic sources. We helped APUS expand on all markets they were targeting.
